If we cannot remember history, we are doomed to repeat it. How many empires have broken themselves at war in Afghanistan? The ability to learn the mistakes of others seems to be as rare rooster teeth.
Too...any poke that can be taken at manifest destiny, or attitudes similar, really should be taken.
