FALL COLORS
(If Cliches Were Honest)
Bright,vibrant fall leaves
are but the color of death.
Brown woods floor covered with leaves
Are but the color of decay.
Clouds the color of gun smoke.
Dusk the color of lead.
All tend to remind one that
"It is always darkest"...always

Fall simply gives the earth a chance to rest. To rejuvenate and reenergize itself; for in a few months it will all be reborn in with beautiful splendor.
Summer draws to an end and the depth of fall and winter begins. Look at a bright side. Your horses get those deep thick winter furs that no matter what, keep both of you warm and you can see a coyote from a mile away.
Fall is very sad. I don't like it. In a way it hurts me.
But God in His timeing of death shows us His splendor. The death is faded out in the brilliant color, to remind us how even in our darkness and "valley of the shadow of death" we can still see God's glory. I very much don't like fall. But it encourages me to see the beauty in ugliness, and feel love in hurt.
