We get a bit of negative feed back from those in the established horse world because they perceive that what we do and what we teach is directly contrary to their core beliefs. Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm up in the Shenandoah valley speaks of respecting the "Pigness of hte pig," he doesn't raise pigs shut up in concrete houses with manure pools and feed conveyors, he pastures them out on wooded range, grazes and rotates, then shuts em up in the winter, and feeds, then uses them to root up sour grain in a manure pack to make compost from the cow manure and old hay...in short, he wants them to be pork, bit first and always a pig...much the same with cattle...that is what we do with these little giant horses...and try to get the >Horse World(tm)(all rights reserved)(patent appied for)(worm your horse)< to do...respect the "horseness of hte horse.
