What beautiful horse Steve! And congrats on such a successful expo. Every one looks great and I am proud of you all for making such a positive difference for these horses.
Photos can be deceiving and so can horses. Holland is quite stout and 'takes up' your leg well. He also has a lot of presence, which give a 'larger than life' impression. You sit him very comfortably, he fits you well. Logic tells one that a horse that fits a grown man is not small. I guess that means that 13 hands and one half an inch is not small.

ReplyDeleteI have in my notes that Holland is 13.1/2 h.h. Is this correct? He looks bigger than that.
