One Should Never Wear a Riding Helmet
... while washing one's hair. Otherwise put on a helmet. Death by head trauma will unfairly give mustangs a bad name.
Its the "air" you wear a helmet with, not the looks of the helmet that make you look nice in it. If you act as if they are gross and you will take it off as soon as you can, that is what it will feel and look like. On the other hand if you act as if they are natual and matter of fact and you yourself are wise for wearing one. Then not even snobby people will be able to convince you to take it off for *style*. And you will be admired for your own strenghth and will be looked on by others as reliable and "not easily bent by the wind"
